Instructor - Head & Neck Surgeon

This Level 2 Clinical Instructor position will be a one-year time limited position focused on additional training in Head and Neck surgery.  The position requires an MD and board-eligible certification in the applicable field.  During this year the majority of the time will be spent in training capacity, mastering the skills required for the development of a Head and Neck surgical practice.  Some independent clinical work may be accomplished, including incorporating the practitioner to the call schedule, having outpatient clinic responsibilities and performing surgical cases, with supervision by more senior staff.  

Qualifications:

Education/Licensure:

• MD or Equivalent
• Board eligible in related field
• Requires successful completion of ACGME-approved residency program in Otolaryngology or alternative on a case by case basis.
• Florida Medical License
• DEA License
• ACLS as required by privileges granted through Medical Staff
