Job Summary This position performs a wide variety of administrative and student support services. Duties include: Assists students who are filling out scholarships, track scholarship applications and approvals, send email confirmation to students and ensure students are enrolled in the correct course(s) for their pathway. This individual will document all student communication and input data on student progress; maintain contact with incoming and current students for proactive coaching, attendance, navigation of systems, and follow up purposes.

This individual will communicate and collaborate with instructors and college staff to support student success; provide appropriate student referrals to internal support departments and community partners regarding policy/procedures, events, or program information. This position schedules, prioritizes, coordinates, and performs administrative office support activities related to community outreach meetings, events, advisory council(s), or office services. Receives equipment and supplies for academic programs, works with program directors to log, monitor, and track students' progress through the use of spreadsheets.

Creates documents, reports, correspondence, and/or other communication materials; oversees the maintenance of files, records, database information and documentation related to assigned area and according to established procedures as related to National Association for Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation. Researches, gathers, compiles and reviews data and information in support of assigned function, program, project, or support area. Essential Functions 35% - The position is designed to assist with retention efforts, student completion, and college to career transitions.

Assists in the planning, development and evaluation of curricula and programs for assigned instructional area. Serves as liaison to the community, other programs, students and related constituencies. Receives inquiries and provides related program information.

Assists in the design of program elements such as, but not limited to student recruitment, retention and tracking strategies 35% - Maintains student records, program/progress data and program information. Prepares and submits reports. Assists in preparing, administering and collecting assessment information.

Collects, monitors and reviews data for student retention, scholarship application and approval tracking as well as NAEYC accreditation documentation. Researches, gathers, compiles and reviews data and information in support of assigned functions, programs and/or department. 20% - Assists in the development of proposals, reports and marketing materials.

Assists in the hiring process for instructional staff. Maintains, orders and replaces supplies, equipment and materials; arranges for service needs. Maintains an updated teacher schedule and room book.

Travels locally, as assigned. 10% Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Associate's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and one year of advanced program support involving program coordination, preferably in an educational setting. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.

Desired Qualifications Associates Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field. One (1) or more years' experience providing administrative, program and/or student support Two (2) or more years' experience with Microsoft or Google Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) One (1) or more years' experience with meeting and/or event coordination.
