Location: Middle School, grades 6-8
Immediate Supervisor: Building Principal
Instructional Paraprofessional Schedule: 5.5 hours per day, 171 days per year
Salary Range: $15.01 - 22.17
PERA Pension Retirement Plan
Accrue 9 sick days and 1 personal day each year
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Principal and guidance of certified staff, the Instructional Paraprofessional is responsible for reinforcing strategies that support curriculum by performing a variety of duties associated with the supervision of students as they are involved in various school activities. Specific assignments will vary from program to program depending on the job assignment; duties may include small group instruction in academic areas, lunchroom supervision, noon recreation/recess supervision, in-school suspension, playground monitoring and/or CARES room supervision.
