Position Summary:
Milacron is looking for a 1st shiftInspector to join our team in McPherson, KS. As an Inspector you will be responsible for inspecting new and used screw and barrels for compliance to Milacron customers.
Schedule: M-F 8am-4pm, overtime and Saturdays mandatory as needed.
Team:
3 groups within inspection (simulation, digital and finish) with a team of 10 associates on different shifts.
Create check-in card to use with job traveler
Set-up and operate gaps between screws (CNC, Threadmill, Finish Inspect, Pre-Inspect) verifying screw to blueprint specifications.
Must use precision measuring tools specific to job.
Lift, position, and transport work piece with a hoist.
Must use job specific hand tools.
Basic Qualifications:
1+ years of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Blueprint reading
Precision measuring tools
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical School Certificate
High School Diploma or equivalent
