As we continue to grow, we are seeking a high performance, self-motivated, professional who is looking for an opportunity to help drive our business as an Insight Specialist. This individual will be someone who is an organized, task-oriented, team player who will strategically support the Account Management team and ensure success for our customers.

Job Summary

This entry level role, Key Account Insight Specialist, is responsible for assisting and supporting the Key Account Management team with creating, building, testing, and deploying our customers' “Insight” engagements. As functional experts, they will support the Key Account Management team in delivering well-executed tests (Insights) of items/initiatives under consideration. The desire and ability to quickly learn is pivotal as there is substantial opportunity for growth within the organization.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Create and execute customers’ online tests (Insights), including the collection and organization of online assets from customer(s)
  • Review data inputs for quality control
  • Communicate directly with customers to coordinate on-time and successful completion of product/initiative tests
  • Partner with the Key Account Management team to identify the customers' business needs and then communicate the proper value proposition by matching First Insight's capabilities to those needs
  • Attend internal and customer meetings to understand customer requirements, strategy and solution positioning to ensure successful product tests
  • Travel (as needed) to customer sites to assist in photographing items to test or to assist in strategy or results meetings with customers
  • Collaborate on ad-hoc projects with Key Account Management team
  • Identify and establish customer-specific efficiencies in workflow with manager’s support

Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree from an accredited college or university. Retail Merchandising/Planning degree is ideal.
  • Proven track record of successfully learning and understanding a task and executing it accurately
  • Demonstrated ability of learning and following a defined set of processes
  • 1+ years of retail/CPG experience is helpful
  • Understanding of data analytics as a tool for better decision-making
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment balancing multiple responsibilities
  • Outstanding listening, verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Goal-oriented with high personal drive, integrity and energy
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to adhere to strict deadlines
  • Uses critical thinking skills to solve problems
  • Project management experience is helpful
  • Understands the product creation and introduction process
  • Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Must be comfortable working in a team environment
  • This is a hybrid work-from-home position:
    • must be willing to travel up to 5% of the time to HQ (in Pennsylvania)
