Inside Sales Representative

Cooksey Steel, a subsidiary of Reliance Inc. has an opening for an Inside Sales Representative in Tifton, GA.

Inside Sales Representatives are responsible for generating business through managing customer relationships, growing new customers, and building new business with existing customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Initiates daily and weekly customer prospecting calls as assigned by Sales Manager to include cold calls, and outbound calls.

· Enters product orders and follows up with orders and customers to ensure customer satisfaction and order accuracy.

· Builds customer relationships through regular customer interaction and engagement (phone or on-site) with customers within assigned area.

· Interacts with operations and credit departments to follow up with order processing and customer credit / payment.

· Maintains orderly customer files and work area to enable efficient workflow and maximum productivity.

· Processes required reports, work orders, and reports.

· Achieves weekly and monthly volume and profitability targets as assigned by Sales Manager.

· Manages expected level of profitability per order and gains pricing approval as needed on customer orders.

· Maintains working knowledge of all outsourcing partners, products, services, and pricing.

Requirements:

· High school diploma/GED; associate degree in business, Marketing, or related field desired and 1-2 years’ experience in sales and/or managing an assigned territory.

· Excellent verbal, written communication, and critical thinking skills.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook).

· Good organizational and time management skills.

· Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

· Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
