Job description

We are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative that will be responsible for selling high quality personal protective equipment to assigned customers within the ad specialty market in a competitive market against established vendors. This person must be willing to find new opportunities, service and grow existing customer accounts, and have strong closing skills. The Inside Sales Representative must be a highly motivated, team oriented individual with a desire for high personal achievement. This person will effectively articulate OccuNomix’s value proposition and product differences to customer decision makers. We are looking for a fast learner who can take direction, be flexible, and who works well in a fast paced environment. Previous sales experience, negotiating, closing, or account management is expected.

An Inside Sales Rep will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

Responsibilities

The Inside Sales Representative position is geared toward an individual that is highly motivated to cultivate new business opportunities:

  • Outbound telephone sales to increase busines with existing accounts, while also prospecting and building business with new and/or lapsed accounts
  • Develop relationships with customer key decision makers to achieve sales goals and defined metrics.
  • Demonstrate outstanding customer service to build relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Implement sales, pricing and marketing programs within assigned accounts, including sales promotions, new product launches, pricing strategies and other communications.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge by understanding technical specifications and be able to engage in discussions about merits and benefits of using the products. This product knowledge will be used to increase personal credibility, educate customers and optimize product sales.
  • Update and maintain data integrity of the customer database for current customers in your segment/territory to document customer activity reports related to new sales, opportunities for growth and customer needs.
  • Demonstrate effective phone skills and etiquette while meeting or exceeding established sales metrics
  • Attend sales meetings and meet with sales manager on a regular basis

Necessary Skills & Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent, bachelor’s degree in Professional Selling, Marketing or Business a plus
  • 3+ years of phone sales experience; telemarketing, Inside Sales, customer sales experience preferred
  • Must have practical sales experience, preferably in at least one of the following markets: safety apparel, safety products, or industrial supplies ·
  • Must be a go getter; able to work independently with minimal supervision and very strong at gaining interested clients by phone
  • Ideal candidate will be very trainable and show ability to learn, master and present company value proposition
  • Microsoft Office proficient (including Excel & Power Point). Experience with ZoHo, Salesforce.com, BigIn or similar sales management system highly desired. Also experience with updating customer information in standard ERP systems, like Microsoft Dynamics, Net Suites, etc.
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication skills (including phone skills)
  • Travel limited

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
