Inside Sales Representative - Ebensburg, PA

West Central Equipment is the John Deere Agriculture and Turf Equipment Dealership in Central and Western Pennsylvania. We sell, service and supply parts for John Deere tractors, skid steers, ag equipment, lawn & garden mowers, zero-turn mowers, Gator utility vehicles, implements and related equipment.

PURPOSE: The purpose of the Inside Sales Representative is to help new and existing customers select and buy the right residential and large property owner equipment for their needs, and to achieve market share goals and sales units for the under 50 horsepower tractor market. Weekend store hours are 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Saturday only. No Sunday hours. Weekday hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

JOB DUTIES:

• Greet and engage walk-in store customers and phone customers promptly and professionally
• Represent the company for the sale of equipment to residential and large property owner customers
• Demonstrate professional selling and communications skills with customers
• Follow the company’s master quotation and sales process
• Maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and implement the company’s trade evaluation process
• Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of equipment
• Maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with their purchase
• Monitor competitive activity/products and communicate market information to managers
• Organize and conduct equipment demonstrations
• Perform sales support roles as assigned by the store manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent customer relationship and communication skills
• Knowledge of mowing equipment, utility vehicles, and compact tractors desired
• 2 years large ticket retail sales experience
• Ability to use computer, device and internet functions
• Math ability to work with financing programs and proposals
• CRM and MS Teams experience preferred
