Description:
- Remote (Work From Home) Outbound CSR's are needed to support a client in the Central Time Zone.
- Agents can expect a structured work environment, where they have a set schedule with scheduled breaks (2-15 min paid) and lunch (1- 30 min unpaid). Work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm CST. Training is 1 week long and training runs from Mon-Fri 8:00am - 4:30pm CST.
- Agents are expected to maintain excellent attendance and adherence to schedules, meeting sales goals and dials per hour.
- Agents will be dialing businesses for the entire duration of their shift. All calls are scripted and for the majority must be read verbatim and require rebuttaling on all not interested calls in an attempt to convert to enrollment.
- Agents will be educating and encouraging enrollment in a utility demand response program that helps alleviate stress on the power grid on peak demand days.
If enrolled, a device is installed on the clients outdoor AC component and will cycle the AC or Heat Pump up or down a few degrees on peak demand days. There is no direct cost to the customers if they enroll, and as incentive to enrolling they receive credits on their bill during these peak demand months i.e. summer. Typically, about 3-4 times per year. This cycling off saves the electric company power being used on the power grid which helps avoid blackouts.
Calls are made on a preview dialer; with the expectation of 45-50 calls per hour (35/hr if leaving voicemails). The goal is to aim for at least 2 enrollments into the program per day.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Need to have GED or HS Diploma.
- 6 months to 1+ years of outbound sales, strong sales skills.
- Bilingual Spanish speaking candidates a big plus.
- They are looking for individuals with a positive attitude that does not get discouraged with hang-ups or shy away from rejection. Looking for people who want to learn and grow. The client does A LOT of coaching to help support agents in their growth and development, all coaching is supportive and collaborative. Leadership team and peers are active in a Teams chat daily to assist with questions and concerns during calls real time, sharing tips and tricks, they run contests and challenges to boost sales and morale, and more.

-Excellent attendance and ability to work with no distractions during their shift
-Ability to follow a script verbatim
-Ability to navigate through multiple screens while speaking with customers
-Comfortable with computers
-Someone who is not afraid of rejection
oThere are scripted rebuttals that must be used each time a customer declines enrollment
-Open to growth & development within their role through consistent coaching at times on a daily/weekly basis
-Must make 40-45 dials per hour
oGoal of at least 3-4 sales per day
