Job Description
- Solicits and qualifies sales appointments.
- Maintains current and accurate daily records of prospect contact for solicitation and follow-up.
- Conducts telephone solicitations as directed by the Office Manager or Sales Executive.
- Collaborates with Sales Executive to achieve weekly appointment targets using lead sources and company database Self-generate appointments via marketing initiatives, community new-business listings, direct mail, and email campaigns.
- Research emerging industry prospects.
- Manage schedule of calls in company database of past prospects and former customers.
- Participate and build Teamwork and Success.
- Meet/exceed standards of professionalism and appointment to sales objectives.
- A High School diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum of 2 years previous experience in sales or telemarketing required.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Clear, present, professional, and friendly telephone manner.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Proficient in the use of the Internet.
- Ability to take detailed and accurate notes and messages and document prospect and client information in electronic database Relationship building.
