Position Title:Inside Sales Manager
Job Summary: The Inside Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in leading and managing our Retail Sales efforts. This position involves collaborating with various departments such as Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success to ensure profitable organic growth within the Retail Pharmacy segment. The primary focus is on expanding the company's business by demonstrating strong sales skills and coaching team members to excel in their sales roles.
Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Lead and manage the daily activities of the retail sales team, providing regular reports to superiors as required.
- Oversee and manage all performance metrics and analytics for the team, establishing clear data-driven processes.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing department to ensure seamless integration of Retail Sales and Marketing efforts, focusing on closing sales from qualified leads generated by marketing campaigns.
- Work in conjunction with the Customer Success department to ensure successful onboarding of new customers, with a specific focus on the accuracy of registration forms submitted.
- Partner with the Finance department to design and monitor commission plans and weekly incentives that motivate the team to achieve results.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions using the Sandler Selling method to enhance the sales skills of team members.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan, including a targeted customer list, to drive growth in the Retail Pharmacy segment.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with potential Retail Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), Associations, and Wholesalers.
- Ensure the integrity of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system by establishing and managing an effective sales process.
Supervisory / Management Responsibilities:
- Management of the Inside Sales team.
Beneficial Education, Skills and Experience:
- Experience with building, leading and retaining strong teams.
- Strong project management skills paired with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced, start-up environment is preferred.
- Detail and metric oriented.
- Experience with high call volume in an outbound sales environment.
Required Education, Skills and Experience:
- Education equivalent to bachelors degree in Sales, Marketing or the equivalent in related work experience, demonstrating knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance/experience managing customer compliance programs.
- Five (5) years of direct sales experience, demonstrating the ability to manage internal and external customer relationships.
Work Environment:
This role operates in an office environment with controlled temperatures. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computer, scanner, printer, telephone, photocopier, and filing cabinets. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This role will also require Pharmers to travel using a car (personal or rented), airplane or other means of transportation in order to visit customers or vendors. While traveling via car, Pharmers must be diligent and aware to their surroundings at all times in order to drive defensively.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this role, the Pharmer is frequently required to sit; talk and hear; and use hands to handle, or touch objects or controls. The Pharmer is regularly required to stand or walk. On occasion, the Pharmer may be asked to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders. The Pharmer must also occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
