Inside Sales/ Growing to the Manufacturing Operations Manager Position

Inside Sales position Growing to an Operations Manager, or Manufacturing Manager, oversees the general operations of a company to find any areas in which the company in question can improve. They plan long-term initiatives for success, work with various teams and departments on improvements and solutions, and analyze budgets to minimize costs.

Responsibilities:

* Day to day Operations; Scheduling, Invoicing, AP, AR, etc.

· Resolve customer inquiries and complaints

· Work with production team and manage customer’s orders

· Call for new business, while contacting existing customers for future projects

· Office administrative responsibilities, filing, check runs, ordering material from vendors, etc.

· Previous experience in sales and customer service machine shop sales

· Ability to build rapport with customers

· Strong negotiation skills

· AA/BA degree or equivalent.

The ideal candidate will be able to oversee and maintain existing client relationships while identifying prospective clients and business opportunities within the machining and electrical socket industries. These objectives will be carried out through efficient, professional communication with our industry relationships and the production team. The candidate should have an aptitude for problem-solving, ability to work well as part of a team, and proficient written and verbal communication skills.
