Job Summary:
Experience a high-energy, fast-paced work environment that's both competitive and rewarding as you grow sales of Broan products within a designated territory by understanding and partnering with the Home Builder customer and providing a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate is a motivated individual with leadership aspirations and the desire to make an impact in a newly created Inside Sales function. The right person will have an opportunity to grow into a leadership role as we build out our Inside Sales function.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive profitability and provide strategic direction based on customer needs.
- Prospect and convert leads (new customers / sales opportunities) through the inbound lead process and outbound cold calling (to/from) potential customers to determine next best steps.
- Manage and serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts while growing these accounts YoY to achieve quarterly quotas by expanding existing sales
- Maintaining and expanding database of prospects within assigned
- Understand customer needs and requirements that strengthen the overall LTV of the
- Ability to retain product information and speak effectively regarding features/benefits/applications to potential customers by performing effective online Product knowledge demos to
- Record detailed customer information such as facility information and reaction to the call in
- Collaborate within Broan teams; Sales, Bid & Spec, Marketing, Customer Care and Finance.
- Make or receive phone calls to/from potential clients and determine next best
Job Requirements:- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years' previous experience in a field or Inside Sales role - preferably in a sales organization. Previous leadership experience is desired.
- Proven self-starter and informal leader with a strong work ethic, motivated attitude to multi-task, hunter mentality, love of sales, and the drive to get out in the field and support existing business and/or pursue new business daily.
- Highly motivated, disciplined, organized, detail-oriented, demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent people skills; effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
- Relentless positive attitude and willingness to help. Successful in working independently and through team collaboration.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring, training, and coaching others.
- Strong administrative skills (i.e. Salesforce (CRM), excel, word, power-point, mapping software) that include experience with Salesforce for project tracking and customer analysis is a plus.
- Foster understanding and adherence to sales processes and policies.
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing analytically rigorous initiatives.
- Intellectually curious with an understanding the goal is to make the business grow.
Physical Requirements:- Ability to spend 80% of daily activity on the phone and online. Seated, standing, etc.
- Ability to overnight up to 5% for Broan events.
- Ability to work remote (home office) / onsite.
- Ability to lift to 25 lbs. periodically.
