Location: Indio, CA
Schedule: 40 hrs./week, variable days and afternoons
Pay Rate: $27.50/hr. + health benefits
Job Responsibilities:
- Answers phones and triages customer service issues
- Prepares prescription and nonprescription medication and/or devices
- Stocks and replenishes stock locations and automated dispensing machines
- Provides oversight of controlled substance inventory, including ordering, receiving, and auditing of controlled substance usage
- municates supply issues, problems or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel
- Delivers medications to patient care areas
- Performs purchasing and billing functions
- Prepares intravenous admixtures or other sterile drug products
- Conducts monthly medication area inspections
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician by the California Board of Pharmacy
- Must have a strong background in IV pounding
- Full time availability
- COVID Vaccine required
