Injection Molding Tool Technician

As an Injection Molding Tool Technician at Fluke Plastics, you will be tasked with supporting and maintaining the Injection Molding Tooling.  You will need to understand Plastic Part Quality Standards and Injection Molding Tool design to effectively support and complete preventative maintenance on injection molds. 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the upkeep of Molding Tools within the Fluke Plastics Factory
• Disassemble, clean, and prep molds for production.
• Change mold or text inserts to meet part configuration based on the part drawing.
• Use the PM software to record work and track history of tools
• Be able to identify molding/assembly defects and root cause
• Verify molded parts meet engineering spec or part drawing
• Apply Lean manufacturing principles to improve production processes and achieve cost reduction.
• Communication of quality and condition of the Molding Tools to the team

Qualifications:

• 2-4+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must be fast thinking, patient, and highly motivated
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings required
• Microsoft Office/Excel Proficient
• Ability to exercise judgment within procedures and practices to resolve issues with appropriate action
• Must build productive internal/external working relationships
• Ability to handle high pressures, prioritize work and understand impact of duties
• Respond to metric/goal driven environment, take initiative to meet goals
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills
• Experience with working in a cellular or Plastics manufacturing environment preferred

This is a safety sensitive position. We conduct preemployment drug tests after a conditional offer letter is extended, including testing for THC.

Everett, WA: The hourly range for this position is $21.95 - $40.86

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
