We are seeking an ambitious, experienced INJECTION MOLDING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN for our manufacturing operations located in Cullman, Alabama.

Responsibilities

Main Roles and Responsibilities of Position:

• Perform Injection Molding machine adjustments, troubleshoot press and auxiliary equipment, and assist with preventative maintenance and repair of production equipment
• Maintain day-to-day molding operations, troubleshooting equipment, tools, materials and quality inspection at completion
• Assist in the achievement of the molding department goals in regards to product quality and process control standards
• Assist with the set-up and maintenance of molding auxiliary equipment, including grinders, conveyors, liquid temperature controls and mold electrical controls
• Maintains a safe work environment in keeping with 5S and general housekeeping principles. Performs a variety of cleaning and general maintenance tasks as necessary
• Overtime work as needed

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience required:

• Electrical and mechanical knowledge of robots, drives and conveyors
• Prefer degree in technical discipline
• Specific knowledge of the following systems preferred:
• A/B RS Logix and RS Logix 5000 programming software
• Siemens S5 and S7 programming software
• Kuka KRC-2 and KRC-4 robot controllers
• Strong PC systems skills (Word, Excel, RAUINST, SAP)
• Mechanical, pneumatics and hydraulics experience
