Infusion Nurse

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as an Infusion Nurse. As an Infusion Nurse, you will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients receiving intravenous medications and therapies. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure the safe and effective administration of treatments.

Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments prior to initiating infusion therapy - Place peripheral IV lines & mix/prepare medications
- Administer IV medications
- Monitor patients during infusion therapy for any adverse reactions or complications
- Document patient treatment/visit in electronic health record
- Telephone triage with patients regarding patient medication treatments. Retrieve phone messages from voicemail and return all calls.
-Assist with stocking/re-stocking inventory of supplies/medication
- Perform other duties assigned by management or physician.

Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience and qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an infusion or critical care setting
- IV Start
- Proficiency in IV infusion techniques, including central line access and management
- Strong ability to use data, computer systems, and electronic health records in support of patient care delivery
- Multi-tasking skills

Pay: $38.00 - $43.00 per hour
