The Infrastructure Implementation Manager is responsible for global provisioning and project implementation in support of the NTT Global IP Network (GIN). *This is a remote work from home position that can be filled within the contiguous United States. This is a telco provisioning role to procure Aggregation, Peer, Data Center Facility, and Infrastructure backbone connections across all NTT GIN regions.

In this role you will:

  • Project manage circuit implementations from contract signature, circuit test and turn up, to invoice receipt.
  • Ensure complete and correct circuit documentation is provided in inventory systems for billing and quality records keeping purposes.
  • Manage operating costs by closely managing install intervals alongside disconnects for network upgrades and downgrades.
  • Attend status calls with vendors to hold them responsible for on time and correct delivery.
  • Complete weekly status reports to internal departments
  • Interface with intra-department groups on migration orders, data center facility ordering status, and Infrastructure Sourcing on RFPs.
  • First point of escalation for implementation issues with carriers.
  • Coordinate with Sourcing and internal teams to communicate timeline for new orders.
  • Ability to work outside of the standard U.S. 8am – 5pm business hours, as needed.
  • Miscellaneous duties and responsibilities to support company goals for continued network growth.
  • Responsible for participating and successfully completing all companywide mandates/training in a timely manner.
  • Complies with all Ethics and professional standards.
  • Complies with all corporate and organizational security policies and guidelines.

Skills and Core Competencies

  • Proven background in ordering telecommunications services within an ISP environment.
  • Must have strong organizational and project management skills to succeed in this role.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate information clearly and concisely at multiple levels.
  • Expert ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining the required attention to detail.
  • Candidate must be self-motivated as this role is remote with minimal daily supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within process, prioritize work tasks/deliverables and manage projects with proficiency while meeting timeliness.
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible, outgoing and positive, and to exercise independent judgment when making decisions.
  • Ongoing professional development and continuous training in telecommunications.
  • Strong Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Excel and Database environment knowledge required.
  • Ability to work interdepartmentally with Customer Engineering, Infrastructure Sourcing, Vendor Assurance and Peering teams as well as External Vendors.

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business management, or equivalent experience in related field preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience in Telco Provisioning/Project Management within a Telecommunications environment.
  • Previous independent and remote work experience required.
