Infrastructure Consultant

We are seeking an Infrastructure Consultant to join our team in Irving, Texas.  This role is primarily responsible for the implementation and delivery of Digital Infrastructure & Operations products and services in a specific region or global scope. The person in this position acts as a trusted partner towards the business through the provision of professional consultancy for how to use standard products and services in country-specific requirements and solutions.
This position requires technical knowledge, strong customer orientation with the ability to explain the product and service functionality and its benefits, and the ability to act as a consultant helping to create or choose the right solution or optimize the existing implementation of the product or service.  Responsibilities may require occasional after-hours work for implementations and post-production coordination, international travels, and other events as needed.
What you'll get to do 

• Be directly responsible for implementing Digital Infrastructure & Operations products
• Maintain a detailed knowledge and awareness of the Digital Infrastructure & Operations products and services portfolio
• Support local IT in building knowledge of new products and services
• Establish and maintain successful working relationships with key IT staff and business stakeholders at all levels
• Participate in the IT Demand process by assisting with solution proposals and accurately estimating deployment efforts
• Provide technical leadership in regional or global projects/activities.
• Work with Digital teams to provide first build/pilot solutions and support countries in future roll-outs and upgrades
• Provide early life support after finished deployment
• Provide training for deployed products and services to country IT
• Ensure strict deployment compliance to Change Management and CAB processes
• Use ITIL, OKR, SCRUM, and quality management technologies and ensure Digital processes compliance

You are an ideal candidate, if you have:

• Technical skills in the following areas:
  • Enterprise IT infrastructure subject matter expert level experience, preferably within multiple technology areas
  • Knowledge of Process Control Network (PCN) infrastructure and solutions
  • Experience or knowledge of Operational technology (OT) and Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT)
  • OT infrastructure security experience is highly desirable
• Experience with providing solution based technical recommendations or consulting services
• Bachelor of Science degree or comparable level of work experience
• Ability to work in an international team
