About the Role: LVT  is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Security Analyst to join our cybersecurity team. This role is perfect for someone who is looking to get into a security role with a security or security related degree,  or has 4-5 years of experience in a technical field such as systems administration, network administration, cloud engineering, etc. As a Security Analyst, you'll have the unique opportunity to contribute to both our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and Information Security operations and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation and management of GRC initiatives, including compliance with standards like SOC 2, ISO 27001, CMMC, and FedRAMP.
• Support the InfoSec operations and engineering teams in managing and optimizing various security technologies.
• Conduct basic security assessments, audits, and participate in the maintenance of security policies and procedures.
• Collaborate across teams to integrate security practices into business processes.
• Contribute to the development of security reports and documentation.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in cybersecurity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science or related field(Or equivalent work experience)
• A foundational understanding of security principles and technologies.
• Familiarity with GRC concepts and compliance standards is a plus.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of cybersecurity.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills.
