JOB SUMMARY:
· Full-time- 2nd shift
INFORMATION SYSTEMS TECH
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
· Responsible for setup, patching, and deployment of PCs, applications, printers, scanners, and miscellaneous personal devices such as smartphones.
· Connect networkable devices to wired and wireless networks and troubleshoot basic networking problems.
· Responsible for new employee user accounts in Active Directory & Domain architecture, badging software, and software-specific user accounts.
· Manages and triages help desk database and user support requests.
· Provides Tier I problem resolution and support to staff.
· Performs complex software/hardware troubleshooting, patches, and re-installations in accordance with established SLAs.
· Provides frequent communication and follow-through during the issue resolution process.
· Responsible for on-call rotation for after-hours system support. Requires tech to wear a notification device such as a cellphone.
· Works closely with Nurse analysts to identify Electronic Health Record issues and assist with the escalation of tickets.
· Identifies system modifications to reduce user problems.
· Analyze situations, evaluate alternatives, and implement solutions within standards (where applicable).
· Interpret guidelines and analyze information to adapt or modify processes in response to changing circumstances.
· Duties may require non-routine analysis, research, and follow-through.
· May act as a resource to others to solve problems.
· Other duties as assigned.
OTHER SKILLS:
· Practical understanding of scripting to include PowerShell, VB, and/or batch.
· Knowledge of current trends in the specific field.
· Demonstrated experience with standard software applications, including MS Office, Windows. Must have a strong dedication to customer service.
