Annual Salary Range:
$112,243 - $149,845

DESCRIPTION
This position will oversee the City of Temp’s Real Time Operations Center (RTOC), Service Desk and Embedded Services. A candidate possessing excellent negotiation, diplomacy, organizational, staff management and presentation skills will be best prepared to succeed in this role. This manager will consistently and clearly explain the purpose of a Real Time Operations Center (RTOC) to the department, City Leadership and to the Residents of the City of Tempe. This manager will work with other departments to develop Embedded Services operations in our Police Department, Municipal Utilities and other departments with unique needs.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Developing and implementing a successful Real Time Operations Center, accessible to all emergency services at the City of Tempe
- Coordinate the connection of camera feeds, both internal and external
- Coordinate training for the operation of Real Time Systems.
- Meet with City and Community executives to present on the importance of the RTOC and offering services.
- Lead our embedded services division, cultivating relationships with our Police, Municipal Utilities and other Departments.
- Monitor performance of our Service Desk as they continue to provide excellent service.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Work Experience:
Requires four (4) years of supervisory / administrative experience in at least one (1) of the following areas:
- Business Strategy and/or Operations,
- IT Infrastructure and/or Application Development
Candidates must have the minimum amount of work experience. Years of experience are based upon a full-time work schedule (2,080 hours per year). The sum of an applicant’s full-time and/or part-time qualifying work experience must meet or exceed the stated minimum qualification. Education will not substitute for the required work experience; however, related unpaid and/or volunteer work experience may be used as qualifying work experience.
Education:
Requires the equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business management, public administration, computer information systems or degree related to the core functions of this position.
The term “equivalent” means that directly related work experience exceeding the required work experience will substitute in equal time increments for college-level education, for example: one year of additional directly related work experience will substitute for one year of college education (30 credit hours).
Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registrations:
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
