SET THE COURSE

The Information Technology Intern will be a part of the IT Project Management team helping deliver on cross-functional projects that support the execution of our new Retail and Marlin Bar openings. The Intern will have the opportunity to interact with teams involved in Project Management, Retail Operations, Vendor Relations, and IT Network and Operational support teams. The intern will be an essential component in the launching of several multi-million dollar projects that will contribute to the overall success of the Company.
- The Internship will last approximately 8 weeks during 2024 summer break timeframe: Running from June 17th, 2024, and ending August 9th, 2024.
- This is a paid internship opportunity.

Pay for the role will be $24 an hour.
BE THE ISLAND GUIDE
- Assists in the data collection required to create Statements of Work(SOW) to support New Store and Bar openings.
- Assists in creation of project tasks and managing of completion.
- Assists with the configuration & testing of Retail & Marlin Bar user-facing equipment.
- Assists with the configuration of Retail & Marlin Bar internal systems configurations.
- Assists with the gathering of information from various internal and external business partners to support New Store & Bar project activities.
- Assists with the scheduling of Vendors to support on-site installations.
- Assists with other New Store & Bar opening activities as needed.
ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE
- An expected graduation date of December 2023 or Spring/Summer 2024 in degrees related or similar to Management Information Systems, or general Business.
- Knowledge or aptitude of general Networking processes.
- Knowledge or aptitude of general Project Management processes
- Knowledge of data/analytics concepts and reporting
- Knowledge or aptitude of various Windows based systems and applications
- Self-starter attitude and the ability to be a team player within a fast-paced team
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong organization and multi-tasking skills
- Strong information seeking-skills and a drive to make things happen
- Ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse group
PHYSICAL ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE
- Ability to lift and/or move up to approximately 25 lbs. occasionally
- Occasionally being able to bend/stoop/kneel and/or twist as required
