Job Title: Information Systems Security Manager/Systems Administrator

Location: Robins Air Force Base

Clearance: Candidate must have or be able to obtain Secret Clearance (prefer active Secret clearance)

Inalab Consulting is recruiting an Information Systems Security Manager/Systems Administrator to provide Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) Logistics, Engineering, and Force Protection (A4) Information Technology systems support at Robins Air Force Base (RAFB).

Responsibilities

Information Systems Security Manager:

• Creation and maintenance of a disaster recovery/continuity of operations plans.
• Maintenance of risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk).
• Skill in creating policies that reflect system security objectives.
• Ensure that cybersecurity inspections, tests, and reviews are coordinated for the network environment.
• Oversee policy standards and implementation strategies to ensure procedures and guidelines comply with cybersecurity policies.
• ISSM to AFRC B&L GI&S system
• ISSM to Civil Engineering Planning Tool system
• ISSM to Support Agreement Management system

Systems Administrator

• Ensure application of security patches for commercial products integrated into system design meet the timelines dictated by the management authority for the intended operational environment.
• Install, update, and troubleshoot systems/servers.
• Knowledge of basic system administration, network, and operating system hardening techniques
• Monitor and maintain system/server configuration.
• Maintain, create, troubleshoot all servers associated with AFRC B&L GI&S, Civil Engineering Planning tool, and Support Agreement Management system.

Required Skills and Capabilities:

• Knowledge of current industry methods for evaluating, implementing, and disseminating information technology (IT) security assessment, monitoring, detection, and remediation tools and procedures utilizing standards-based concepts and capabilities.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles
• Knowledge of risk management processes and requirements per the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Knowledge of server administration and systems engineering theories, concepts, and methods.
• Knowledge of cloud computing service models Software as a Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
• Well organized with strong time management skills
• Ability to effectively communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
• Provide excellent customer service, being helpful and courteous

Educational, Certifications, and / or Experience level:

The following are the minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
• Four year’s experience
• AFRC Network Requirements
  1. 8570 Certification
  2. IAT Level II Certification
