Position Overview:

Coordinate programs and/or services to assist and/or promote students, to assist with growth, success, retention or development of the student. Review and maintain student records and generate reports, and/or communication for the department or division. Coordinate the development and/or preparation of informational materials relevant to students. Maintain, archive and manage databases, spreadsheets and/or reports.

Department Specific Essential Job Functions:

Manages and oversees all things related to eCommerce with 3rd Party Processor Touchnet to include:

  • Payment Plans-Manage payment plans offered to students. Create new plans as needed. Oversee the plan communications including delinquent accounts before assigning to a collection agency. Generate and disseminate reports to evaluate plans. Manage all technical aspects of the collection process.
  • eRefunds-Oversee and maintain all technical functions of eRefunds to ensure it is working effectively. Oversee communications in regard to eRefunds.
  • Marketplace-Oversee all functions of Marketplace. Act as an Administrator for all uStores and uPay sites. Create new stores for departments on campus.
  • Actively look for opportunities to enhance and expand eCommerce services for the University.
  • Stay current and active with UCO’s Touchnet account representatives.
  • Provide technical assistance in the Bursar’s office as requested, which can include support with Oklahoma tax Commissions, International Wire Payments, PCI compliance and 1098T processing.
  • Maximize the efficiency of the Scholarship Management Software and use the software to improve customer care.
  • Analyze and understand the data to provide adequate and appropriate support and feedback.
  • Identify problems, recommend improvements and maintain database integrity and security.
  • Serve as liaison between users and train end users on software functions appropriate to their responsibilities.
  • Effectively communicate with staff and faculty.
  • Assist with other functions related to scholarships, state and federal fund management.
  • Effectively communicate website updates and changes requested by the department and/or division and manage those changes to ensure accuracy and completion.
  • Maintain quality and data integrity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience Preferred:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. One to two years of database and database management experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of computer systems backup/data recovery methods and procedures. High level of computer competency. Good computer and communication skills. Excellent proofing and editing skills. Must possess the ability to organize projects, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and deal effectively with confidential or sensitive information. Must possess the willingness to seek and accept responsibility.
