Job description

Mayvin is currently seeking an Information SecurityAnalyst Senior to provide support to the new Cybersecurity and Compliance initiative in the Department Homeland Security's Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Office (DHS CWMD). Lead a team of three to provide Information SecurityAnalyst Senior for the DHS Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Office. Work includes establishing processes, building and maintaining a Dashboard, and helping to build out new CyberSecurity & Compliance program.

95% Telework, must be local to DC area to attend occasional meetings (with notice).

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must have a Secret Clearance


Responsibilities
:

Lead a team of 3 to implement and support the Continuous Monitoring mission at CWMD, including the following:

  • Build a threat/situational awareness dashboard for senior executives to have access to CM data
  • Perform Continuous Monitoring activities, using Splunk, Tenable and similar
  • Understand and advise on vulnerabilities common to edge devices such as our fleets of detectors
  • Upon identification of a vulnerability, advise on impact and on mitigation strategies, and track the follow-through to completion (e.g., ensure it actually gets done)

Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of 15+ years of directly related experience (or 13 with a Masters degree)
  • Experience with vulnerability assessments, vulnerability management, and running dashboards
  • Experience with Splunk, Tenable, or similar
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience leading a team
