JOB DESCRIPTION
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor security tooling and alerting systems, responding promptly to security incidents.
- Assist in investigations into potential security issues and provide detailed reports on findings.
- Provide oversight of Vulnerability Management tooling, ensuring timely identification and remediation of vulnerabilities.
- Review and generate responses for due diligence requests related to Information Security.
- Research software and third-party solutions for acceptable use internally, ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Assist in coordinating and collecting evidence for audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
- Create documentation for security processes, procedures, and guidelines.
- Gather statistics and contribute to security-related reporting.
- Stay up-to-date on new IT security trends and proactively recommend enhancements to current security measures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Information Security-related position.
- Experience overseeing vulnerability management programs.
- Familiarity with SOC2, ISO27001, GLBA, or other compliance/audit frameworks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated capabilities to multitask and track the status of ongoing projects.
