Information Security Administrator Ii- Remote United States

Compensation Pay Range:

Responsible for maintaining and supporting security systems to ensure company assets are protected. This role is responsible for performing duties to support the day-to-day Information Security operations, supporting and maintaining a broad suit of Information Security tools and technologies.

This position can be worked remotely in the United States.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Maintain and support security systems used for security operations (ie SIEM, Vulnerability Scanning, Endpoint Protection/Anti-Virus, etc.)

Monitors and troubleshoots security tools and automation efforts

Assists Information Security Engineers to ensure systems meet compliance requirements and security baselines

Work with and support Security Engineers to evaluate and recommend new and emerging security products and technologies

Participate in security compliance efforts (e.g., PCIDSS, SOX)

Maintain and tune security alerts and rule logic for the SIEM and AV/EDR

Participate in incident handling as needed

Preform updates and patching to all security tools

Other related duties to support the Information Security function

SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES

Required:

Associate’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or 3-5 years’ general IT experience in supporting IT infrastructure or networking infrastructure.

Intermediate/Advanced understanding of security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.

Experience supporting Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems.

Exceptional problem solving, communication, and customer service skills.

1-2 years of SIEM administration experience

1-2 years of AV/EDR administration experience

Desired:

Security +, CISSP certification , Basic scripting knowledge
