TRISTAR is seeking three Information Assurance Compliance Specialist II for our government customer in Crane, IN

Position Description:

• Information Assurance Compliance Specialist II resources to act as Information Systems Security Officers

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review documentation to include System Security Plans, Risk Assessment Reports
• Certification and Accreditation packages in support of a project's Authorization to Operate utilizing the Risk Management Framework
• Analyze organization's cyber defense policies, configurations, evaluate compliance with regulations, and organizational directives
• Monitor and maintain the Plan of Action & Milestones and provide recommended remediation strategies
• Assist with the configuration management for information system security software, hardware, and firmware
• Responsible for maintaining and monitoring implementation of all Information Security policies, standards, and guidelines
• Evaluate proposed changes to a system to ensure the change does not impact the system's security

Position Requirements:

• Experience: 6+ Years of practical experience in a Cybersecurity, Engineering, T&E or A&A (formerly C&A) related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Conduct and evaluate scans
• Strong cybersecurity background
• Experience with Linux, CISCO, MS networking and OS's
• MUST be a US Citizen
• Must have active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one

Education and Certifications:

• Degree Minimum requirements: College degree in a technical or managerial related discipline
• Preferred: B.S. or M.S in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
• Certifications requirement: CompTIA Security+, CASP or CISSP
