Informatics Nurse Level 1

Job Description:
We are seeking an entry-level Informatics Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Epic and a passion for improving healthcare through technology.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in healthcare
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse WA state license
• 1+ years of experience with Epic
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work well under pressure and with a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ambulatory and Swing Bed experience

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for promoting the understanding, integration, and innovation of clinical information technology to improve both provider and patient experiences.
• Develop and implement solutions to improve clinical workflows and processes.
• Participate in the design, testing, implementation, and support of clinical applications.
• Plan and provide communications and update to end users
• Function as a champion for the EMR and related clinical technology applications
• Plan and develop workflows that support clinicians, patients, and organizational goals
• Provide training and support to nurses and other clinical staff on the use of healthcare information technology
• Assess, develop and implement solutions to improve clinical workflows and processes.
• Serves as a liaison between end users (nurses and informatics department) to bridge the gap between clinical practice and technology systems.
• Collect, interpret, apply and communicate data / information from a variety of sources, then work to apply that data to solve for gaps.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
