IT Data and Metadata Analysis role with strong functional and technical skills in the Data Quality subject; providing services and solutions aligned with overall bank data governance strategy
Responsibilities:
Conduct analysis of existing data models, taxonomies and specifications, business processes and technology to identify necessary changes and plan from implementation
Work closely with Metadata Architect in conducting metadata tasks
Import Metadata from various data collection points including data bases and vendor tools such as OFSAA, Hyperion, Axiom, Moodys using Informatica Metadata Manager
Develop custom Metadata Exchange connectors to import metadata as needed and use linkages to manually link metadata where necessary
Understanding metadata catalogs and linking them for lineage
Capture metadata from various metadata sources and linking them to produce desired data lineage
Provide ongoing support for Metadata Implementation, testing and integration
Provide technical training and documentation in support of metadata policies and processes
Drive metadata development, testing and deployment efforts
Strong communication, business and data analysis skills.
Participate in design, development, testing and implementation of solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree - Computer Science or Information Technology.
At least 5 years' experience in a financial institution IT Environment
Hands on experience with Informatica Metadata Manager, Informatica Analyst
Strong technical background and experience importing metadata from heterogeneous metadata sources using Informatica Metadata Manager
Experience development Metadata connectors to extract metadata
Strong oral and written communication skills
Financial Industry experience preferred
