Overview of Position:
The Influencer Marketing Intern will be responsible for applying their skills, education and knowledge base to help the Insomnia Cookies marketing department grow their influencer database and execute impactful Influencer Marketing campaigns in 2024. This position will also involve brainstorming and work on small projects surrounding our local marketing store efforts and college activation initiatives. The Marketing Intern will work under direct supervision of various marketing team members to develop new skillsets and gain workforce experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with the marketing activations team on influencer campaign ideation for key company initiatives, product launches and new store openings
- Source social influencers, student influencers and athletes across multiple platforms through search and Insomnia’s influencer management platform
- Assist with campaign setup, influencer communication and sending product to selected influencers, media contacts and Insomnia Athletes
- Assist with monitoring, tracking and recapping all influencer and Insomnia Athlete campaigns
- Brainstorm ways to reach and engage our core demographic, and bring your ideas to life with support from the broader marketing team
- Act as a passionate advocate for Insomnia Cookies and attend local events as needed
Required Education & Experience:
- Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications or related marketing field
- Knowledgeable and passionate about pop culture trends, Influencer Marketing and different social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Twitch
- Relevant work experience in marketing field, focused on Influencer Marketing or public relations
- Must have availability up to 15-20 hours/week, including a hybrid work at our Center City
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite of products
- Cookie connoisseur a plus
