Job Description
A prestigious nationwide healthcare organization providing service to a chain of nursing homes in New Jersey is looking to immediately hire an Infectious diseases Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with an active NJ license to work collaboratively with their teams of Infectious diseases doctors and healthcare professionals various nursing homes across the State of NJ (Travel expenses will be reimbursed), providing comprehensive care to patients. Your expertise in diagnosing, treating, and managing Infectious diseases conditions will be pivotal in delivering high-quality patient-centered care. These centers offer a compensation package based on a combination of a base salary and the Relative Value Unit (RVU) system, with an average total compensation ranging from $160,000 to $200,000 per year, in addition to hefty paid time off (PTO), medical, dental, and vision benefits, CME allowance, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough infectious disease assessments, including patient history and physical examinations,
- Order and interpret relevant diagnostic tests, such as blood cultures and serology, to identify infectious agents,
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with Infectious diseases,
- Assist with specialized procedures related to Infectious diseases, such as abscess drainage or wound care, and
- Educate patients on infection prevention, medication adherence, and follow-up care.
Qualifications:
- Active NJ state license,
- at least 2 years of experience in Infectious diseases field, and
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Job type:
- Part Time, twice monthly per facility.
Pay level:
- Based on RVU system, $160,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
