OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician led and accountable 600+ provider multispecialty group practice seeking an Infectious Disease Physician to work full-time, doing a mix of inpatient and outpatient work on the Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center Campus located in Boise, Idaho.

Enjoy diverse pathology consulting at our Level 2 trauma center. This role will help build a new employed Infectious Disease service line with clinic space located on hospital campus. Join one outpatient APP and excellent support staff. We utilize EPIC EHR.

The schedule is a typical workweek, Monday-Friday, with 32 patient contact hours per week. The call schedule is 1:3, inpatient rounding and call, scheduled one week at a time.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Successful completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Infectious Disease fellowship.
  • Board Certification or obtain certification within 3 years of employment.
  • Obtain Idaho medical licensure to practice medicine in all its phases.
  • Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Boards of Pharmacy and DEA.
