Summary
NEW LONDON FT Infant Teacher position:
CFA is looking for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our dynamic team of educators at our New London Day Nursery providing care for our small infant classroom serving a maximum of 4 children M-F. This position is best suited for individuals who are team oriented and who have center-based experience working with children aged 6 weeks - 18 months of age.

CFA is looking for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our dynamic team of educators at our New London Day Nursery providing care to children ages 3-5, working with the classroom team to plan and implement curriculum that reflects the children’s interests and developmental needs and maintaining all licensing, NAEYC and funding requirements.
GROTON FT Infant Teacher position:
CFA is looking for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our dynamic team of educators at our Early Childhood Development Center providing care for our small infant classroom serving a maximum of 4 children M-F. This position is best suited for individuals who are team oriented and who have center-based experience working with children aged 6 weeks - 18 months of age.
ALL positions require qualified candidates to have a current CDA, Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Development or a related field.
Duties
·Assist in the implementation of curricula activities and encourage participation by children.
·Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, order, and availability of classroom materials.
·Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions and progress reports.
·Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.
·Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to child care center.
·Follow all center policies and state regulations.
·Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
·Minimum of 1-2 years of professional child care experience.
·High energy.
·Ability to work well with others.
·Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
·A strong understanding of child development.
·Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
·Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
·Must clear full background check.
·Must pass health screening.
