Job Description
Fidelis Integrated Solutions, Inc. (FIS) is seeking Part-Time Infantry Subject Matter Expert (SME) Instructors to support a 20-day small unit tactics and tactical decision-making training package. Training will consist of a leadership and decision-making course, a tactical skills course, a maneuver tactics course, and a culminating field training exercise. Instruction will consist of academic and field instruction, followed by a culminating exercise and debrief.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
· Provide instruction on planning and decision making at the tactical command level. As well as instruction on the deliberate and expedited planning process.
· Provide the most current crisis response tactics relevant to current.
· Provide instruction on operational command and Control, maintaining situational awareness at a command post, use of gridded reference graphics and risk mitigation.
· Provide most current small unit tactics at the individual and buddy team level.
· Provide instruction on the Basics of Marksmanship, Land Navigation, First Aid, and Communications. Instruction will include but not limited to M4 and M18 weapons systems, PRC 152A setup, PRC 117G setup, DAGR GPS setup and use, Map and Compass utilization.
· Provide instruction on Fire Team patrolling.
· Aid in Standard Operating Procedures development.
· Teach basic and advanced skills required to conduct dismounted operations in both rural and urban areas at the fire team and squad level. (e.g. Urban movement, overwatch techniques, movement formations, react to contact drills, ground tactical considerations against structures and more.)
· Develop and facilitate realistic exercise scenario in line with training audience mission essential tasks (METs)
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Qualifications)
· Candidates must have two (2) years’ experience as one of the following:
- US Army Infantry qualified instructor
- US Marine School of Infantry Combat Instructor
- US Marine Division Schools Instructor
- Expeditionary Operations Training Group (EOTG)Instructor
- US Army Special Operations instructor
- Marine Raider Instructor
· Candidates must be able to validate certification as trained small unit tactics instructors.
· Candite must have at least one (1) year of platform instruction experience.
· Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
· Must be a U.S Citizen
· Must pass a background Check.
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Qualifications)
· Former Army Green Beret or Marine Raider desired.
· Military curriculum developer certification or experience desired.
· Proficiency using MS Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook skills.
Travel
· Travel dependent on candidate proximity to Moody AFB, GA.
