We are currently seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our growing Team.
Overview
Blue Iguana Quality Control/ Maintenance Techs are key in keeping our sophisticated cleaning facilities up and running smoothly. Quality Control Techs stay busy with an array of projects across the company but are also responsible for resolving any dynamic issues via troubleshooting and emergent repair. Our Team takes pride in their work and are involved in regular service intervals, equipment installation and all large-scale upgrades. Blue Iguana's growth and commitment to quality and innovation will keep you busy!
Daily Responsibilities

• Maintenance on different site every weekday
• Start well before staff gets there to be able to finish by opening
• Lubricating equipment bearings, air rams,
• Replace wear items on equipment
• Replace worn out equipment
• Changing out bearings on electric motors,
• Swapping seals and rebuilding pumps
• Welding conveyor steel
• Removing buildup in vacuum lines with HP water nozzles
• Replumbing soap lines
• Changing oil on pumps and compressors
• Performing daily, weekly, monthly, bi-annual and annual maintenance on all sites
• Perform tunnel repairs and equipment installation at assigned locations.
• You need to understand -or be willing to learn- (advanced electrical work and control wiring, plumbing maintenance, basic install and repair on complex equipment.
• Having metal Fabrication/ Welding is a plus
• Being able to test 3 Phase 480V, and distribution panels, VFD/PLC's is a plus

What we're looking for:

• MINIMUM of 2 years moderate to advanced level experience in breakdown industrial and production maintenance
• Basic level experience in plumbing, electrical and commercial building maintenance
• Experience with 3 phase high voltage, AC/DC and distribution panels
• Experience with VFD/PLC experience preferred
• Experience repairing Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems
• Strength in communicating with peers and stakeholders to proactively plan key projects, repairs, and general maintenance
• Energetic and positive personality with the ability to be flexible, adopt new procedures and processes, and learn by being hands-on
