Description: This position is to provide practical experience working in industry with an emphasis in automotive technology, metal manufacturing, welding, engineering, and wood working. Knowledge in the maintenance and repair of equipment, comprehension of technical writing & reading, being flexible and able to multi-task while providing a safe environment for students is required. Instructor will be the automotive and metals program lead instructor and create project based, hands-on experiences that are responsive to emerging workforce needs. Class assignments for the 2024-2025 school year may include: Metal Manufacturing, Welding, Automotive technology, Engineering, and Woods.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated successful teaching experience bringing all students to their highest achievement levels. Demonstrated successful collaboration with team members to create a learning community. Montana Secondary Teacher certification, or ability to be certified by the start of the 2024-25 school year.
