Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is looking for you to join our team as an IndustrialSecurity Analyst (level 2) / Principal Industrial Analyst (level 3) based out of Magna, Utah.
Roles and Responsibilities: Develops and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
Additional responsibilities:

  • Experience with emergency management or crisis management planning.
  • Implement enterprise established processes including workplace violence prevention and contingency planning with crisis management and business resilience.
  • Ensures adherence with National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM, DoD 5220.22-M), DoD Manuals 5205.07, Volumes 1-4, ICD 705 Physical Security Construction, NSA/CSS Policy Manual 316, as well as other applicable government or customer contractual regulatory guidance and directives.
  • Experience with physical security systems, such as UL 2050 alarm systems and requirements.
  • Working knowledge of Lenel access control systems.
  • Thorough understanding of the physical security accreditation requirements and processes.
  • Collaborates across various levels of Security organization towards achieving highest levels of operational efficiency in application of consistent achievement of milestones.

Basic Qualifications:
  • IndustrialSecurity Analyst (level 2): 3+ years Security experience with a Bachelor's degree; OR 1+ years with a Master's degree OR an additional 4 years of security experience can be used in Lieu of degree.
  • Principal Industrial Analyst (level 3): 6+ years Security experience with a Bachelor's degree; OR 4+ years with a Master's degree OR an additional 4 years of security experience can be used in Lieu of degree.
  • This position requires an Active DOD Secret Clearance, In-scope investigation (T3, T3R, T5, T5R, SSBI, SBPR, PPR) completed within last 6 years or current enrollment in Continuous Evaluation (CE) program, as well as ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
  • Computer and desktop office software products experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Completion of ICD705 Physical Security Construction course.
  • Emergency Management Certificate
  • Current Top Secret clearance with SAP access would be preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion.
  • Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, excellent communication skills speaking, writing skills and organized skills enabling effective communications.

Salary Range: $62,200.00 - $93,400.00Salary Range 2: $76,600.00 - $115,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
