We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our team. As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint and other coatings to various surfaces. Your attention to detail and ability to work with precision will ensure high-quality finishes on our products.
Duties:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming
- Mix paints to specifications
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray guns
- Ensure even coverage and smooth finishes
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear
- Maintain painting equipment and tools
- Monitor inventory of paints and supplies
Skills:
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating paint quantities
- Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials handling
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain painting equipment
- Proficiency in using power tools and sandblasting for surface preparation
- Ability to assemble and disassemble parts for painting purposes
- Experience operating a forklift for material movement
- Experience in construction painting is a plus
