  • Responsibilities

    Our client specializes in custom metal fabrication, car parking lifts, crane services, and industrial mechanical services, including material handling equipment. They are currently seeking a skilled Millwright who is proficient in electrical tasks, particularly in wiring motors, and has substantial hydraulic or mechanical experience.

    This role is ideal for a hands-on individual who thrives on the ground, performing both the essential general labor and more complex tasks such as constructing frameworks and maintaining machines. The position is based in Seattle, where the successful candidate will work on various sites, contributing to the seamless operation of our client’s projects and services.

    Industrial Millwright Job Responsibilities

    Wire up motors and work with electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.

    Apply hydraulic and mechanical expertise to maintain and repair machinery effectively.

    Engage in physical, hands-on work, including constructing frameworks and performing various forms of physical labor

    Conduct routine maintenance on machines, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

    Work collaboratively with a team on site in Seattle to complete projects according to specifications and timelines.

    Qualifications

    Proven electrical experience, specifically in wiring motors and understanding electrical systems.

    Strong background in hydraulics or mechanics, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery.

    Willingness to perform hands-on, physical tasks as well as more skilled mechanical work.

    Ability to construct framework and engage in maintenance activities with precision and safety.

    Valid driver’s license and ability to work on various sites in Seattle, often in outdoor or industrial environments.

    Commitment to following safety protocols and wearing appropriate safety equipment as required.
