Our customer is currently in search of an experienced Material Handler with a track record of excellence to join its elite team located at The Port of Catoosa. They have earned a reputation as a premier industry player specializing in cutting-edge industrial systems and are often referred to as the region's best kept secret, and you get toskip the temp to hire process and go directly onto their payroll!
Responsibilities for this role include:
- Operate a forklift, scissor lift, jib crane, bridge crane and other material handling equipment
- Rig loads for lifting
- Inspect rigging
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Material Handler in a manufacturing environment
- Certifications preferred

* Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.
* Weigh materials or products and record weight or other production data on tags or labels.
* Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.
* Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, or boxes and secure material or products for transport to designated areas.
* Hook tow trucks to trailer hitches and fasten attachments, such as graders, plows, rollers, or winch cables to tractors, using hitchpins.
* Operate or tend automatic stacking, loading, packaging, or cutting machines.
* Turn valves and open chutes to dump, spray, or release materials from dump cars or storage bins into hoppers.
