Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing and replacing equipment, fixtures, and systems
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively
- Respond to maintenance requests from staff in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with electrical, plumbing, and other systems
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed to complete repairs
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Supervise and coordinate the work of contractors when necessary
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Skills:
- Strong leadership skills to effectively supervise maintenance staff
- Proficient in using CMMS software to track and manage maintenance tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently
- Strong customer service skills to interact with staff, and contractors
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to maintenance activities
