This position works 12 hour shifts (6:00am - 6:00pm or 6:00pm - 6:00am) on a rotating schedule.

Position Summary:

General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• This position requires that you be able to set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery.
• This position also requires trouble shooting of various mechanical issues in an industrial setting.
• This position requires the use of Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out daily documentation that is required in the system.

Physical Requirements

• Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis.
• The Team Member will work on their feet for a period of 12 hours.
• The Team Member will work in warm temperatures ranging from 65-90 degrees.
• The Team Member will work in wet/ and or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areas, and concrete floors.
• The Team Member may be exposed to airborne particles (primarily flour dust), and a noise level loud enough to require hearing protection.
• The Team Member will complete all required training, both hands on and computer based, as required for the job.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year mechanic work experience or graduate of an Industrial Maintenance training program. Can be a combination of employers. This must be documented in the application or resume.

Salary: $24.49 - $28.13 per hour
