Industrial Maintenance Mechanic III
Position Summary: The basic function of the Maintenance Technician III is to ensure routine maintenance procedures as well as helping to troubleshoot issues immediately as they arise with equipment, to reduce downtime of production. Ensure all documentation and recording are completed and adhere to good documentation practices. Maintain adherence to Company policies and safety regulations.
Position Type and Expected Hours: This is a full-time position. Overtime is a condition of employment.
Work Environment: The physical environment requires a Maintenance Technician III employee to work indoors in a climate-controlled facility regulated between 36- and 38- degrees Fahrenheit. Conditions may also include wet floors and equipment. Personal Protective Equipment is required in this facility. Employee must be aware of surroundings and be safety minded.
Physical Requirements: Standing; walking; bending; reaching overhead and out in front; lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs; hand dexterity in handling both small and large objects.

Responsibilities:
- Attention to detail is required to be able to observe the routine operation of manufacturing equipment and quickly spot when something is not right. Must keep clear and accurate records of routine testing as well as troubleshooting and repairs.
- Detailing machines as per specifications.
- Completes work orders in a timely manner.
- Ensure critical parts and general parts for cutting equipment are identified and in inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop.
- Assist department in taking inventory and maintain and inventory system.
- Ensure proper and thorough documentation as required in SF360 while adhering to good documentation practices.
- Wear proper PPE and follow all safety rules and guidelines.
- Proactive execution preventative checks and routine inspections and the ability to identify potential issues, take corrective measures and anticipate ongoing needs.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues by studying manufacturer guidelines, specifications, manuals, and materials to ensure equipment preventative maintenance and troubleshooting is executed to ensure the equipment is running properly.
- Problem-solving skills to work independently, and the ability to source information to resolve issues with machinery. The ability to identify, isolate and repair issues based on reporting of faults from the production team.
- IT skills for database upkeep, logs and reporting, and cross-team communication in SF360, and any other programs utilized to organized and maintain the department.
- Time management to plan and execute routine maintenance activities as well as responding to troubleshooting requests and unexpected equipment issues.
- Be able to independently fix electrical, pnuematic, HVAC and PLC programming.
- Perform MIG welding independently.
