Industrial Lab Technician - Day Shift

-Comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
-Maintain productivity, quality, housekeeping, attendance and safety standards.
-Perform daily metlab duties per schedule and assist advanced/senior personnel.
-Clean and maintain cut-off-saw, lab equipment and lab accessories.
-Cut, mount, grind and polish lab samples as required.
-Identify heat treat process by microstructural examination with use of microscope.
-Perform preventative maintenance on inspection equipment.
-Approve steel certifications per company or customer specifications.
-Identify all microstructures in materials commonly used before and after heat treatment.
-Prepare PPAP samples and compare results with customer specifications.
-Use SAP to confirm lots that are accepted and to create requisitions.
-Perform basic Millipore cleanliness analysis on requested components.
-Work as a team member to ensure production quality.
-Responsible for communicating when there is an issue affecting the Environment, Health, Safety or Quality to his / her respective Manager.
