Job Summary
Maintains cleanliness of all facilities at Pulpdent for the purpose of maintaining a sanitary, safe and attractive environment by doing the following:
Work in close communication with other members of the facilities team
· Daily removal of recycled materials and trash materials
· Maintain cleaning supplies, paper products
· Basic property cleanup, light gardening
· Keep storage rooms clean and organized
· Vacuum with various pieces of equipment
· Enforce no food policy on production floors
· Clean all equipment, mirrors, windows, break rooms, working surfaces, bathrooms, change lightbulbs
· Maintain floors (mop, strip, wax, buff, etc)
· Snow removal on stairs, pathways, docks, and driveways
· Perform basic repair and maintenance tasks on building infrastructure and janitorial equipment. (Examples include painting floors and walls, greasing bearings, changing air handler filters, following cleaning procedures on sump pumps, repairing janitorial equipment, etc)
· Application analysis and selection of chemicals, including management of the mixtures of cleaning agents
· Work with engineering department on occasion to move equipment around
· Occasional movement of tables, chairs, racks, desks, etc
Required Experience
· Prior experience cleaning
· Prior experience using hand tools and knowledge of basic repair work
Work Environment & Physical Demands
· Ability to complete repetitive manual labor tasks
· Ability to lift 50 lbs
· Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
· Ability to be exposed to cleaning chemicals
