Atlas is a leading Environmental Solutions provider, has an opening for an entry-level Staff Environmental Engineer in its Compliance Practice to support Air, water and tank compliance projects. This position will perform multi-media environmental compliance audits; environmental site assessments; mitigation measure implementation, write and edit plans for various projects with a diverse portfolio of project types and clients.
Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

• Project Manager for Industrial Hygiene and Building Sciences projects.
• Manage current projects from proposal through the final invoice stages.
• Provide mentoring and work assignments to support staff in execution of fieldwork and project deliverables.
• Technical review and support for client deliverables
• Contact/meet with existing clients.
• Conduct site investigations at large industrial sites and/or housing complexes.
• Management of abatement and/or remediation projects to include all associated tasks
• Assist in and support business development opportunities
• Work activities include compiling data for project reports, collecting and compiling field data as required, documenting technical data for management review, providing other duties as assigned, assisting with preparation of labor/material estimates and design packages for clients
• Prepares proposals for new business opportunities including budget, strategy, and scopeCollection and interpretation/evaluation of scientific data
• Responsible for executing scope and maintaining schedule and budget goals for defined tasks
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Development of plans, specifications, analyses, evaluations, maps, position papers, procedures and reports
• Communication of technical concepts, evaluation results, plans, and reports
• Ensures conformance to applicable technical standards as well as company policies and procedures

Requirements
Basic Qualifications:

• 2 to 5 years of experience bachelor's degreein chemical, environmental or civil engineering.
• Experienced in writing comprehensive technical reports and proposals.
• Experience maintaining corporate management standards (either as a consultant or an internal compliance officer).
• Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to travel periodically and perform field assignments.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, MS Office computer, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record

Desired Certifications:

• Asbestos Inspector
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER
