ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Moves material and drives the Large Industrial Forklift for large tonnage Chillers
Wraps units by using a heat gun.
Prepares units for shipping.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
Cleans equipment
Performs housekeeping and other duties as required.
PHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Lifting 50 lbs. (occasional), Standing (constant), Walking (frequently), Bending (frequently), Climbing (occasional), Crawling (occasional), Reaching (frequent), Grasping (frequent), Sitting (occasional)
Must understand and follow safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Must follow written and oral instructions. Vision corrected to 20/20. Handling equipment (frequently)
ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:
Manufacturing - Exposure to noise, dirt, dust, cold/heat (indoor), cold/heat (outdoor). Job hazards of working around heavy equipment and machinery.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED:
Tape measure, small hand tools, power tools, crane, brazing torch.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Drives the large Forklift. Knowledge of hand tools. Good dexterity with hands. Good judgment required. Perform math at a level normally acquired through completion of high school. Ability to maintain clean and safe work area and/or equipment as required.
