As a Compactor Technician, you will:
- Follow all safety procedures such as lockout/tagout, fire watch, and fall protection protocols.
- Repair and or replace motors, pumps, cylinders, and valves.
- Adhere to requirements and maintenance needs of equipment being serviced.
- Torch and cut old chutes, guide rails, etc. for removal.
- Install trash compactors, fabricate chutes, and install cardboard balers as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude
- Possess and maintain a valid state driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
- Working mechanical knowledge including the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
- Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions and confined spaces.
- Experience with basic welding, cutting, and layout operations.
- Ability to pass DOT physical.
